Family owned and US based.
Welcome to Home Accessibility Solutions,
A family-owned company based in Wichita, KS and deeply rooted in Christian values. We are dedicated to enhancing independence and safety for individuals and families by providing tailored home modifications that meet real-life mobility needs.
Founded by Carl and Michelle Carnnahan, the company has grown from a small operation into a trusted provider of accessibility solutions across Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Missouri. Carl’s journey began over eight years ago with Staying Home Corporation, and over the years, he has personally installed more than 120 elevators in homes across 48 states.
Seeing the life-changing impact our work has on families is the most fulfilling part of what we do. We take pride in helping individuals safely access previously unreachable areas of their homes — whether that’s through a stairlift, a porch lift, or a luxury in-home elevator.
Today, Home Accessibility Solutions proudly offers systems from Staying Home, Savaria, Stiltz, AmeriGlide, and Residential Elevators, covering everything from compact home lifts to high-end, fully customized elevators. We also install vertical platform lifts (VPLs) from Harmar, AmeriGlide, and Staying Home Corp, offering safe, code-compliant access for porches, garages, and elevated entryways.
Carl and Michelle work alongside their son Brett Carnnahan, as well as a close-knit team of technicians and office staff who have truly become like family. As a family-owned, faith-centered business, we believe in pressure-free sales, honest communication, and treating your home as if it were our own.
Dedicated to an unforgettable experience for our customers.

With Over 5 Elevators In Our Product Line We Have The Solution
Phase 1
Personalized In-Home Evaluation
Our master elevator technician will visit your home to conduct a professional site assessment. During this visit, we’ll evaluate your layout, discuss your mobility goals, and determine what solution makes the most sense for your space, style, and budget.
We’ll walk you through various options, including dependable and space-saving lifts like Stiltz Homelifts, vertical platform lifts, and stairlifts. For those seeking a premium experience, we also install stunning luxury elevators from Residential Elevators Inc., known for their beautifully crafted wood and glass cab finishes.
As a family-owned, Christ-centered business, we specialize in pressure-free sales and honest guidance. You’ll never be pushed into a system that doesn’t fit your needs — instead, we help you make an informed, confident decision that supports long-term accessibility and independence.
Phase 2
Planning, & Site Preparation
Once your lift solution is selected, our team handles all the necessary planning.
Our professional installation team will arrive on site to begin preparing the area for your new elevator. This includes framing, floor protection, and carefully creating the elevator footprint, which is surprisingly compact — comparable to the size of a standard clothes dryer.
Whether your project involves cutting through one floor or multiple, our experienced crew works cleanly and efficiently, minimizing disruption to your home. We take pride in treating every home as if it were our own, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.
Phase 3
Equipment Installation & Safety Testing
Once the tracks, rails, or pulley system is securely installed and the elevator carriage is fully assembled, our technicians move into the most critical part of the job — safety testing.
Every lift system we install undergoes a detailed multi-point inspection. This includes verifying all limit switches, door interlocks, emergency stop buttons, and travel alignment to ensure the unit operates safely and smoothly.
We take this phase seriously because your family’s safety depends on it. Our licensed and trained team never shortcuts this step. Each component is checked, tested, and signed off before moving forward. If something isn’t perfect, we don’t proceed until it is.
Phase 4
Final Walkthrough & Customer Orientation
After installation and safety testing are complete, our technician will guide you through a detailed walkthrough of your new elevator or lift system.
We take time to thoroughly explain how your unit operates, how to use the controls, and how the built-in safety features work — including emergency stop functions and power failure protection.
You’ll also be shown proper emergency exiting procedures and what to do in the unlikely event of a malfunction. We want every customer to feel fully confident and safe using their lift from day one.
Before we leave, we’ll answer all of your questions, confirm you’re comfortable with the system, and ensure everything meets your expectations.
Designed With You In Mind
Home Accessibility Solutions®
Because the Easy Climber Elevator requires no mechanical room or a deep pit construction (like many traditional lifts), it can easily be added to almost any home. Typically, a two-person certified installation team is all that’s required to complete the installation. And to make it easy we will make all installation arrangements for you.
The installation team’s goal is to cause as little disruption as possible to your daily routine. They’ll explain the process to you upfront, so you’ll know how long they’ll be in your home and when you’ll be able to use your new elevator. Although it occasionally takes a little longer, our team strives to be in and out of your house in just a few short days. The Easy Climber Elevator meets or exceeds the safety and quality standards of several nationally recognized testing organizations. These certifications mean your safety is our top priority, leaving you to enjoy the freedom that your elevator offers.
The Easy Climber Elevator is 100% battery powered and charges via a standard 110-volt household outlet. The battery carries enough charge for several trips in case of a power outage. This means there should be no need to hire an electrical contractor to install expensive wiring, upgrade electrical panels, etc. The battery also partially recharges each time the elevator descends, and most batteries last two to three years, depending on how much you use your lift.
The system works on a standard household outlet, which means it uses only about 2 to 3 amps to charge – the same as an iPhone uses. Simply put, there’s never been an easier or more convenient in-home elevator. Take the first step to enjoying the convenience and safety of the Easy Climber Elevator today!
