Wheelchair Ramps
EZ-ACCESS Wheelchair Ramps
EZ-ACCESS builds one of the widest ramp lines in the country, and that breadth is the whole point: the right answer for your front door might be a full modular ramp with handrails, or it might be a rubber mat that levels out one stubborn threshold. Their PATHWAY modular systems bolt together on adjustable legs and polymer footpads — no concrete, no digging, and typically no permit — so even a long run goes in without turning your entry into a construction site. TRANSITIONS handles the small rises at doorways and sliding doors. SUITCASE and GATEWAY ramps fold up and travel with you. We measure your rise, do the math on the slope, and tell you which one you actually need.

Picking an EZ-ACCESS ramp comes down to two numbers: how much height you need to climb, and whether the ramp needs to stay put. Under about two inches of rise — a raised threshold, a sliding-door track, a single low step — a TRANSITIONS plate or mat solves it with no hardware and nothing to trip over. Once you are climbing a real step or a porch, you are into a ramp with handrails, and the choice is PATHWAY 3G for a home entry or PATHWAY HD when the job has to satisfy an inspector. If the need is temporary, or the ramp has to ride in the trunk to a doctor visit, a folding SUITCASE or a solid-surface GATEWAY is the honest answer.
Home Accessibility Solutions is family-owned, and the same crew that measures your entry at the free consultation is the crew that sets the ramp, adjusts the legs, and comes back if anything needs a tweak. We would rather sell you a $200 threshold mat that fixes the problem than a ramp you do not need — and if your porch, landing, or door swing makes a ramp a bad idea, we will say so and talk through the alternatives.
Why choose EZ-ACCESS ramps
One manufacturer, one warranty department, and a line that covers everything from a half-inch threshold to a thirty-foot run.

EZ-ACCESS ramps are aluminum, which is the practical reason most families end up here. Aluminum does not rot, does not rust, never needs staining or sealing, and it does not soften and get spongy the way a wood ramp does after a few Kansas winters. The modular systems are also genuinely reversible — they sit on adjustable legs with polymer footpads instead of concrete footings, so the ramp can be reconfigured if the need changes, moved if you move, or taken back out with no repair work to your yard or porch.
The other reason is speed. EZ-ACCESS states that a 24-foot PATHWAY 3G system can be assembled with minimal tools in under 30 minutes. In practice that means most residential ramps are measured one week and walking-ready the next — no framing crew, no concrete cure time, no inspection delay on a typical single-family entry.
Two honest notes on code, because dealers blur this. PATHWAY 3G is engineered to the 2021/2022 International Residential Code (40 psf uniform live load plus a 300-pound concentrated load) and is designed to assemble at the 1:12 slope the ADA handbook calls for — but EZ-ACCESS does not market it as an ADA-certified product. PATHWAY HD is the line EZ-ACCESS markets as meeting ADA, IBC, and OSHA guidelines, with 42-inch guards, 36-inch handrails, and a 100 psf load rating. If your project needs a sign-off, HD is the one to quote.

Modular ramp systems — for steps, porches and real rises
PATHWAY 3G
The residential workhorse. 36 or 48 in. wide, 1,000 lb capacity, continuous two-line handrails, sections from 2 to 8 ft, kits to 30 ft. No footings, typically no permit.
PATHWAY HD
The code-compliant version. 48, 54 or 60 in. wide, 100 psf load, 36 in. handrails and 42 in. picketed guards. Marketed as meeting ADA, IBC and OSHA guidelines — the one to use when an inspector signs off.
Threshold solutions — TRANSITIONS, for rises under about six inches
Angled Entry Plate
8, 10 or 12 in. long, 32 in. wide, 700 lb. Formed aluminum with an applied slip-resistant surface for thresholds up to 2 in.
Angled Entry Mat
Recycled rubber, 850 lb, 36 in. usable width. Nine sizes covering 1/2 to 2-1/2 in. rises in 1/4 in. steps. Beveled all around so foot traffic crosses it safely; trimmable to fit.
Modular Entry Mat
100% recycled rubber, 48 in. wide, 850 lb. Handles a 2-1/2 in. rise, or up to 4-3/4 in. with optional risers. Indoor or outdoor, trimmable and notchable.
Angled Entry Ramp
12, 24 or 36 in. long, 36 in. wide, 700 lb aluminum. Swivel feet let it sit flat on uneven surfaces; covers thresholds from 1-3/8 to 5-7/8 in.
Modular Entry Ramp
34 in. wide, 700 lb. Interchangeable extensions cover 3/4 to 6-1/4 in. of rise, and a pivoting flap fine-tunes the last 1/4 in.
Portable ramps — fold up and travel
SUITCASE Singlefold
One-piece folding ramp, 2 to 8 ft, 30 in. usable width, 800 lb. Folds to 4 in. thick with a built-in handle. Strongest and simplest of the portables.
SUITCASE Singlefold AS
Same idea, but it separates into two lighter sections so one caregiver can lift it. 2 to 6 ft, 29.5 in. usable, 800 lb, 6 to 15 lb per section.
SUITCASE TRIFOLD AS
Folds three ways and splits into two sections — the most compact way to carry a long ramp. 5 to 10 ft, 29.5 in. usable, 800 lb.
GATEWAY 3G
A one-piece solid-surface ramp, 3 to 10 ft, 36 in. usable width, 1,000 lb. Available bare, with two-line handrails, or with picketed handrails. The semi-permanent middle ground.
Handrails only
RAILWAY Modular Handrail System
When the steps are fine but there is nothing to hold. Aluminum, 200 lb rated load, 60 in. handrail lengths that trim in the field, architectural or black powder-coat finish.

Optional upgrades
Ways to make the ramp fit your home and your routine even better. We price any of these into your written quote — just ask.
Optional upgradeTurn Platforms
A ramp does not have to run straight out from the door. Turn platforms let the run switch direction, so a long ramp can follow the shape of your porch or yard instead of pointing at the street.
Optional upgradeCustom Platform Sizes
Standard platforms run 4×4 up to 8×5 ft, but they can be built to a custom size when a door swing, a post, or a tight landing needs it.
Optional upgradeVertical or Horizontal Pickets
Closes the gap between the two handrails so nothing can roll or slide off the edge. Pickets also block a 4-inch sphere, which is what inspectors check for. Horizontal pickets are solid-surface only.
Optional upgradeExpanded Metal Surface
An open mesh deck instead of the solid tread, so rain, snowmelt and leaves fall through instead of sitting on the ramp. Available on select sizes.
Optional upgradePowder Coat Finish
Mill-finish aluminum is standard. Powder coating lets the ramp match your trim or railings instead of reading as equipment. Note: the finish itself is excluded from the lifetime warranty.
Optional upgradeLow-Profile Platforms
A platform that starts as low as 1-9/16 in. above grade, for a doorway that sits nearly flush with the walk.
Optional upgradeChild Handrail (PATHWAY HD)
A second, lower handrail with its top at 25 in. for a child or a shorter user, on top of the standard 36 in. rail.
Optional upgradeTransition Plates
An anchored plate that smooths the joint between the ramp and your walk or driveway, in 48, 54 and 60 in. widths on HD.
You’re covered twice
Manufacturer warranty
EZ-ACCESS backs PATHWAY 3G, TRANSITIONS, SUITCASE, GATEWAY 3G and RAILWAY with a Limited Lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use. PATHWAY HD carries a 3-year limited warranty from delivery. Coverage is for manufacturer parts and components; the powder-coated finish and applied non-skid tape are excluded, the warranty is non-transferable to a later owner, proof of purchase is required, and defects must be reported within 30 days of discovery. Installation error, accident, ordinary wear, ground movement and acts of God are excluded. We include the exact written warranty that ships with your ramp in your quote.
Our workmanship warranty
Every installation also carries our 6-month workmanship warranty, on top of the manufacturer’s warranty. If our installation needs an adjustment, we come back and make it right at no cost to you. We ask clients to allow five to ten business days for a return trip, though it is often much sooner. The warranty covers our workmanship; it does not cover acts of God, user error, or misuse of the equipment.
