When stairs stand between you and the rest of your home — or keep customers out of your building — an inclined platform lift is often the simplest fix. Instead of rebuilding anything, it carries a person in their wheelchair or scooter right up the staircase, riding along a rail mounted to the wall or to posts on the steps. When nobody is riding, the platform folds up neatly so everyone else can use the stairs.
