Stiltz is a British company, founded in 2010, that pioneered the self-supporting, dual-rail home elevator — the two rails the cab travels on (the “stilts”) are how the company got its name. Stiltz opened its first U.S. office in 2013 and the brand has grown fast: Stiltz lifts are now installed in 52 countries, with more than 10,000 installations in the United States — and somewhere in the world, a new Stiltz is installed every 18 minutes.
Because a Stiltz is self-supporting, it needs no load-bearing walls and no machine room, and it simply plugs into a dedicated household outlet. It runs quietly, has a small footprint, and can be installed in places other elevators can’t. Stiltz lifts are available in white or grey.

Fits almost anywhere
Under 8.5 sq ft and self-supporting — no load-bearing walls required. It tucks into a closet, corner, or stairwell void.
Whisper-quiet
A self-contained electric motor — no noisy hydraulics or vacuum pump. You’ll barely hear it run.
Installed fast
Its modular design keeps installs quick and tidy — most are completed in about 2–3 days.
Plugs into a standard outlet
Runs on a regular dedicated outlet and uses about as much power as a dishwasher. No machine room needed.
Quick between floors
Glides between levels in roughly 30 seconds — a smooth, comfortable ride every time.
Room for more
The Trio Alta fits a wheelchair plus a helper — and yes, there’s room for your groceries or the family dog.
