A built-in trickle-charge system keeps the batteries topped off whenever normal household power is available. You can make up to roughly 30 trips on a fresh set of batteries, so a typical outage won’t leave anyone stranded between floors.

Both models travel up to 14 feet between two floors using continuous-pressure controls.
Shafted: EZ5 & EZ6 — Push-and-Go Automatic Operation
If you prefer the full elevator experience, the shafted models deliver it. Press a button once and the car travels to your floor on its own — no need to hold anything. The EZ5 handles up to three floors, while the EZ6 is our largest, highest-capacity cab — designed for households that need the most spacious, capable option available.

Every Staying Home elevator travels on extruded 6063-grade aluminum track and is suspended by two ¼-inch aircraft-grade cables — each rated to 7,000 pounds of breaking strength.
