Home Elevators & Stair Lifts in Edmond & Nichols Hills, OK
In a larger two-story home, an elevator can be as much a design choice as an accessibility one. Placed well, it ties the floors together, makes carrying laundry or luggage upstairs a non-event, and lets everyone in the family use every level for years to come. Home Accessibility Solutions helps homeowners in Edmond, Nichols Hills and The Village choose, install and care for home elevators and chair lifts for stairs. We’re family-owned and were founded by a licensed elevator mechanic, so our team understands the equipment from the inside out.

Home Elevators Chosen to Suit Your Home
Stiltz Home Lifts
A Stiltz lift travels up through the floor, so there’s no shaft to build, no pit to dig and no machine room to find space for. It needs a dedicated 220-volt outlet and comes in white or grey. The Duo Alta suits one or two riders (375 lb). The Trio Alta takes a wheelchair or up to three people (550 lb) and can serve three floors. We sell and install both.
Savaria Eclipse and Savaria Infinity
For a full-cab elevator in its own shaft, the Savaria Eclipse is the best seller and can serve up to five or six stops. The Savaria Infinity uses a hydraulic drive and is the smoothest, quietest ride in the lineup. If you want the very top of the line, ask us about the Savaria Zenith. For a classic look, the Inclinator Elevette has been made since 1928 and offers many cab styles.
Glass Elevators
A glass elevator turns a practical need into a centerpiece. The Savaria Vuelift Mini fits in a 50-inch footprint with just a 3-inch pit and 96 inches of overhead. The Vuelift Round and Vuelift Octagonal offer more shapes, and we also install the Inclinator Elevette Glass and REI Vision.
Chair Lifts for Stairs
Not every home needs an elevator, and not every need can wait for one. A chair lift for stairs mounts to the treads, leaves your walls untouched and folds out of the way. A curved stair lift is built to follow your exact staircase, while many straight models can be finished in one day.
Planning Ahead for Oklahoma Storm Season
Spring storms are part of life in central Oklahoma, and power outages come with them. It’s worth choosing equipment with that in mind. A Stiltz lift has a battery backup that brings the cab gently down if the power drops. The Staying Home EZ elevator goes a step further and keeps running up and down on battery power. Stair lifts typically ride on batteries that stay charged on the rail, so the lights going out doesn’t mean the stairs are off limits. At your consultation, we’ll compare how each option you’re considering handles an outage.

Home Elevator Questions
Can an elevator be added to a home that wasn’t built for one?
Often, yes. A Stiltz lift needs no shaft or pit. The REI The Level needs no pit cut, just a 2½-inch step up. A shafted elevator needs more room, and we’ll show you where one could fit.
What’s the difference between the Eclipse and the Infinity?
Both are Savaria shafted elevators. The Eclipse is the best-selling model and handles up to five or six stops. The Infinity is hydraulic, which gives it the smoothest and quietest ride.
Do glass elevators need a lot of construction?
Less than many people expect. The Vuelift Mini needs a 3-inch pit and 96 inches of overhead in a 50-inch footprint. We’ll check your space at the visit.
We’re building a new home. When should we call you?
Before framing. We review the plans for shaft space, pit depth, overhead and power, and we coordinate with your builder so the elevator is planned in from the start.
