Home Elevators & Stair Lifts in West St. Louis County, MO
A home elevator shouldn’t look like an afterthought. In a house you’ve cared for over the years, it should feel like it was always meant to be there, with the right cab, the right finish and a quiet, smooth ride. A licensed elevator mechanic started Home Accessibility Solutions in 2017, and it’s still family-owned today. We help families across West St. Louis County choose and install home elevators and stair lifts that fit the home as well as the person riding.

Elevators Designed to Belong in Your Home
Glass Elevators
Glass keeps a space open and full of light. The Savaria Vuelift Round and Vuelift Octagonal turn an elevator into a feature of the room instead of something to hide. For tighter spaces, the Vuelift Mini has a 50-inch footprint and needs just a 3-inch pit and 96 inches of overhead. We also offer the Inclinator Elevette Glass and REI Vision.
Inclinator Elevette
The Inclinator Elevette is America’s original home elevator, dating back to 1928. It comes in many cab styles, so you can match the elevator to the woodwork, trim and character of your home.
Savaria Infinity & Savaria Zenith
If a calm, quiet ride matters most, the hydraulic Savaria Infinity gives Savaria’s smoothest, quietest ride. The Savaria Zenith is their top-of-the-line model. Both are full home elevators with a real cab, a natural choice when you want the elevator to feel finished and permanent.
Stair Lifts for Tight or Curved Staircases
Not every family needs an elevator. Sometimes a chair lift for stairs is the right call, even on a grand or unusual staircase.
- Curved stair lifts ride a rail custom-built to your exact staircase. Since each rail is made to order, plan on a lead time.
- Straight stair lifts often go in during a single visit.
- No damage to plaster or paneling: everything anchors into the treads, leaving your walls untouched.
- Fold-up design: the seat, arms and footrest fold up, which helps on a narrow stair.
Our stair lift lineup includes Savaria, Handicare, Harmar, Staying Home and AmeriGlide.
Older Homes, Thoughtful Solutions
Homes built decades ago often have narrower staircases, sweeping curves or finished floors you don’t want torn up. That’s why we look before we recommend. If digging a pit isn’t an option, the REI The Level needs no pit cut, just a 2½-inch step up. A Stiltz home lift needs no shaft or pit at all and runs on a dedicated 220-volt outlet. There’s usually a way to fit the home without changing what you love about it.

Common Questions From St. Louis County Homeowners
Can the elevator cab match our interior?
Yes. The Inclinator Elevette comes in many cab styles, and glass models like the Vuelift let your home’s own finishes show through. We’ll bring options to the consultation.
Which home elevator is the quietest?
If quiet matters most, we usually point families to the hydraulic Savaria Infinity, Savaria’s smoothest and quietest ride.
Our staircase curves. Can it still have a stair lift?
Yes. Curved stair lifts use a rail custom-built for your staircase. We measure carefully, the rail is made to order, and then we install it.
Can you add an elevator without a major renovation?
Often, yes. A Stiltz needs no shaft or pit, the REI The Level needs no pit cut, and the Vuelift Mini needs only a 3-inch pit. We’ll show you which fits your home.
